At our boutique in Almancil we want to give you the feeling that you have come to a place that offers a uniquely personal shopping experience, where you can be inspired and empowered in relaxed surroundings that support your overall well-being.
Our small and unique collections keep evolving, which is why it all depends on the specific product.
One thing is clear, we do not take a fast fashion approach to our product range.
Our Leodoro motto “create excellence” naturally leads us to use classic fabrics like silk and of course cashmere, but we are also open to exploring the use of lesser known fabrics (e.g. Texel), if they can help us to realise our ideal of combining a timeless style with a perfect fit. Another highly interesting fabric is Modal.
Once you touch it with your own hands, you will instantly know why we are excited about this semi-synthetic fabric.
It is based on a type of rayon, derived from beech tree cellulose. The softness and shape retaining properties of Modal are absolutely wonderful and have to be experienced. It was “love at first touch” for our Leodoro-team. A great plus is the fact that Modal has a smaller carbon footprint than many other fabrics and is ultimately biodegradable.
We are constantly assessing new production methods and are communicating directly with select producers, to ensure the best possible quality for our collections, that are designed by us in Portugal.
We wanted to choose a name for our brand that would be easy to remember and phonetically reminds us of leonine strength, elegance and the timeless beauty of gold.
Our small team constantly strives to create excellence and we all agreed that the sound of Leodoro was a fitting expression of this spirit.
The final name was also partially inspired by one of our founders’ dogs, Leo.
Leo is a young Australian Cobberdog who belongs to one of Leodoro’s founders. He exemplifies courage, positivity, natural grace and a golden heart.
In addition to all of the above, Leo is a kind and congenial soul who turns strangers into friends in record time. We hope that our shop in Almancil will also be the birthplace of many lasting friendships.
His limitless enthusiasm for new things, exquisite taste (yes, he is spoiled!!!) and great sophistication are a constant source of both inspiration and entertainment for the Leodoro team and regular boutique visitors.
You can find us on the Avenida José Santos Farias 135 in Almancil, close by the Jardim das Comunidades and next to Arcadia Luxury Villas.
We are open Wednesday to Saturday from 11am until 6pm.
On Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays we are closed to the general public, however we do offer the possibility to pre-book individual “shop on demand” time slots for an exclusive shopping experience.

We consciously made the decision to not have an online shop at the early stages of Leodoro’s development, in order to first properly establish the importance of the physical boutique environment in Almancil.
Ideally our current and future customers will all understand (and enjoy) the fact that our Leodoro boutique is not just a soulless point of sale, but a space that allows for people to really enjoy being there.
We suggest being particularly mindful when wearing individual pieces together with pointy or sharp metal accessories like wristwatches, in order to best protect the integrity of the Cashmere fibres and to ensure product longevity. For cleaning purposes, we recommend gentle hand washing or washing machine cycles that are suitable for delicate garments and are not hotter than 30℃, together with a suitable Cashmere care shampoo. Please also refer to the care label for more information.
